The town is surrounded by the forests of Hrubý Jeseník, which is of a good use for hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter. The village is set in the northern foothills of the mountain range of Hrubý Jeseník (the highest mountain Praděd – 1492 m.), in a valley of the river Bělá at an elevation of 400 m. The southern part of the village is connected | | to the city of Jeseník, the northern part of the village is 13 km far from the national border with Poland. The valley is lined by the wooded hills, of which the northwestern part belongs to the tips of Rychlebské mountains. |

By car:
From Poland (nat. border Glucholazy): take the road I/44 over Mikulovice, Písečná to Česká Ves. In the end of Česká Ves, the guest house is located in the neighbourhood of Jeseník on the right hand side right at the main road (in front of the bridge over the river Bělá).
From Šumperk (Olomouc, Brno): take the road I/44 over the Červenohorský saddle (direction Jeseník) to Bělá pod Pradědem (Domašov). Getting into the village, turn left at the crossroads (direction Jeseník). Keep the road I/44 to Jeseník and carry on through the main road over the roundabout (drive straight through), in direction Česká Ves, Mikulovice. Keep going to the end of the city, at the beginning of Česká Ves drive on the bridge over the river Bělá, the guest house is located right at the main road on your left hand side close to the bridge.
From Bruntál: Take the road II/450 around Karlova Studánka, over Vidly pod Pradědem to Bělá pod Pradědem (Domašov), here turn right at the crossroads to the road I/44 (direction Jeseník). For further directions see directions from Šumperk.
By bus:
The bus stop is right at the guest house, both local and long-distance bus lines (Jeseník - Ostrava).
By train:
Train station Jeseník is app. 2,5 km far from the guest house. It is possible to take a taxi or a bus to the main bus station, there change the bus for the local line having a bus stop right at the guest house. | |
